We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our small team in Wangara, Northern Suburbs of Perth. A customer facing position, the administrator would own the onboarding and mobilisation of candidates for our clients - liaising with candidates, clients and various stakeholders.

Previous experience in mining, construction and/or engineering is advantageous.

About You

We are looking for a customer facing individual, with strong administration background, attention to detail in following client onboarding processes is key. This is a varied and autonomous role in a fast-paced environment, at Rogers we are outcome focused, and can offer flexibility.

We are looking for the right person to join the team. We are open to full time 38 hours week or part time across 5 days. 

The Onboarding and Mobilisation coordinator is required to sometimes be contactable out of hours or on the weekend where a candidate they are onboarding is flying on the weekend or starts work on Monday morning. 

If you have an interest or previous experience within resource planning or recruitment, there are opportunities to develop in a growing business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the onboarding of client's candidates from start to finish
  • Contact successful candidates with next steps
  • Requesting, managing all necessary tickets and paperwork
  • Sending out new start paperwork
  • Liaising with client staff to ensure the new candidate has an organised and strong start to employment
  • Booking and reviewing medical results
  • Organising and reviewing National Police Clearances
  • Tracking progress of onboarding candidates
  • Liaising with site administrators, ensuring mine site specific requirements and inductions are completed for candidates starting work on site.
  • Check ins with new employees prior to start date and one week after their start date.
  • Conduct reference checks for blue and white collar candidates
  • Assist recruitment with blue and white collar phone screens
  • Assisting with recruitment with phone queries
  • Book interviews in person and via video 
  • Recruitment system administration, updating candidates notes as required
  • Willingness to assist team members and support the team during peak periods to get the task over the line

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous Administration Experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise
  • Autonomous, team player and calm under pressure
  • Previous experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR, site administration or mobilisation is highly regarded but not essential
  • Ability to problem solve and make phone calls as required to ensure communication is clear and any issues actual or foreseen are resolved promptly
  • Organised and proactive approach with ability to prioritise against deadlines
  • Experience - Microsoft Outlook, Excel 
  • When candidates are starting employment on the weekend or Monday on a mine site or other location, a willingness to take the phone home or monitor emails is important some weekends. This is managed between the team, so no team member is on call every weekend.  
  • The recruitment process will include a national police clearance.
