Key Responsibilities of a Client Services Coordinator include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and phone inquiries
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional reception area
  • Provide administrative assistance to the team, including data entry and document preparation
  • Process payments and manage billing correspondence
  • Assess service needs with compassion, considering clients' grief and cultural practices
  • Stay informed about available products and services
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of funeral documentation
  • Clearly communicate costs and payment options
  • Coordinate with external service providers, such as clergy and florists

About You:

  • Experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Proficient in computer and telephone skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Empathetic towards grieving individuals and respectful of their beliefs
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
  • Willingness to engage in training and professional development
  • Capable of addressing client and family concerns with sensitivity
  • Comfortable working with bereaved families and the deceased
  • Current certification as a Justice of the Peace or eligibility to obtain it
  • Possession of a valid unrestricted driver's license
