The Opportunity: 

As the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the success of the law firm through your leadership. You’ll guide a passionate team focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients, while also driving revenue generation and maintaining a high standard of operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the firm, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.

  • Cultivate strong relationships within the firm to maintain a cohesive and motivated team of over 60 employees (not all direct reports).

  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial aptitude to enhance the branch’s reputation and provide strong technical oversight.

  • Actively support and coach your team to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.

  • Conduct detailed research, liaise with barristers, and identify legal precedents to inform case strategy.

  • Assist the Managing Partner with strategy and provide day-to-day technical legislative advice.

  • Provide operational oversight, effectively manage budgets, and ensure team performance aligns with firm goals.

  • Progress and resolve cases across various specialties, including TAC and WorkCover.

  • Ensure clients receive the legal advice and representation they need to obtain maximum compensation.

  • Exhibit strong leadership, sound judgment, and commercial acumen to navigate complex situations.

What You’ll Bring: 

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a specialist field of personal injury law.

  • A current practicing certificate.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a thriving team.

  • Strong understanding of, and ability to interpret, relevant legislation and legal documentation.

  • An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients.

  • A proactive approach to generating fees for the firm.
