We have a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our high performing, friendly and innovative team. Reporting to two Practice Group Heads and working closely with our Executive Management Team, you will play an integral role in supporting, influencing and driving the Practice Groups to succeed in their business plans and strategic initiatives.

**The opportunity**

The Practice Manager role is varied and involves practice management, people management and client development and compliance management for the relevant Practice Groups.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Project manage transformation / business improvement initiatives to drive whole of firm consistency, automation and efficiencies
- Smooth running of the practice group and adherence to standardised processes and practices
- Ongoing review of processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement
- Management of meetings and agendas for regular, internal team meetings
- Assist with business planning - ownership of initiatives to be done by initiative owner.
- Management and coordination of the status meetings, data analysis and reports
- Financial, WIP and billing performance reporting and presentations (with support from the Working Capital Management team)
- Management of Legal Assistants - resourcing, wellbeing, people and performance management
- Team liaison - point of contact and support for the business and Shared Services
- Provide support, input and coordination for business development
- Working with Practice Heads and the Executive Management team to develop, influence and implement Practice Group and firm strategic plan initiatives.
- Emulate professionalism and confidentiality and act in a way which supports and promotes the values of the firm.

**What are we looking for?**

To be successful in the role you will ideally have experience working in a law firm as a Practice Manager with strong communication, leadership and management skills, along with the ability to motivate and influence others, prioritise and multi-task.

You will also possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail and strong commercial and financial acumen gained by working within the legal and/or professional services environment.
