We are looking for a Director GAI Acceleration who has extensive experience in driving large scale AI initiatives across an organisation. You will ideally have experience across a range of industries and a network of connections that add depth to your experience.   

You’ll be working with a smart and passionate team who have already made good inroads into AI capability across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the online learning experience for our students, and deliver and scale brand new products to OES, our partners and the market.

As the Director GAI Acceleration you will:

  • Draw upon your industry insights and experience, build out and execute on the material projects and develop our AI approach that embeds AI across departments unlocking significant value;  
  • Identify viable opportunities to integrate existing and emerging industry products to accelerate uptake;  
  • Drive a change management process that supports our student-centred mission and values led culture; 
  • Identify industry benchmarks and metrics and support the team to exceed them; 
  • Lead the AI team internally to build capability and to deliver on the AI plans.  

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A network of collaborators in the AI space that can be drawn upon for insights across industries;  
  • Significant experience in leading and delivering AI projects (or similar) at scale that unlock value;  
  • Proven track record with implementing successful large-scale change across an organisation; 
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire own team and stakeholders/ cross functional teams to deliver exceptional outcomes;  
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);  
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field (preferred); 
  • Knowledge of the Education technology sector desirable but not essential;
