The Venue

Coogee Pavilion's middle floor boasts 3 different options, will’s Cocktail Bar, Una Mas tapas wine bar and mimi’s dining room, that looks like it’s been plucked straight off the European coastline. Each space has its own unique identity, creating exceptional food and drinks and unforgettable experiences, right on the doorstep of Coogee’s sun-soaked coastline.

At mimi’s the kitchen is at the heart of the restaurant with a fully open concept. The menu headed up by Jordan Toft is inspired by the best seasonal and local produce, pulling on flavours from the Med and Europe, with an interior to match.

The menu is complemented by one Australia’s most respected and extensive wines lists and this is your opportunity to take the helm.

The Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join mimi’s as the Restaurant Manager.

We are looking for someone driven and motivated, focused on driving business performance, who can build, develop and lead a high performing team, and most importantly someone who has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences that are second to none. 

As a Restaurant Manager you will be expected to constantly look for ways to improve, bringing ideas and initiatives to the table as well as motivating and driving the venue to success.

A day in the life of a Restaurant Manager will look like:

  • Having a strong focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product
  • Leading from the front, ensuring your team understand what exceptional looks like everyday
  • Hands-on and operational
  • Understanding and owning your financials. Be a numbers person and challenge revenue driving opportunities
  • Developing the skills of the staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships
  • Managing day to day operations with sophistication and passion
