Join us as a Senior Insights and Reporting Advisor and be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and relevant reports to help management identify, monitor, and manage risks across Suncorp Bank.

In this role you will work closely with the risk management teams, business units, and senior leaders to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and risk assessments to drive management action and improvements.

This role supports Banking and cross function working groups to ensure effective consultation for the design and delivery of reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with FAR accountabilities for the function.

The Senior Insights & Reporting Advisor is accountable for ensuring deliverables align with both Group and Banking Policies, Frameworks and Standards, whilst ensuring solutions support Banking’s compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare and distribute regular and ad hoc risk reports to various stakeholders, including risk dashboards, risk profiles, risk appetite statements, and risk heat maps.
  • Analyse and interpret risk data from various sources, such as internal systems, external benchmarks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and communicate key risk indicators, trends, issues, and emerging risks to management and relevant committees.
  • Provide input and feedback on the design, development, and enhancement of risk reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the risk management team and other functions to ensure alignment and consistency of risk reporting across the Bank.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk culture and awareness within the Bank.

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant degree in Business, Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in banking or financial services with a strong focus on reporting, risk, and compliance.
  • Proficient technical skills in Excel, Tableau, Cognos, and dashboard management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholder groups
  • Proven risk management experience with a track record of success in delivering core frameworks and standards
  • Strategic planning and critical thinking skills to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
