The Company
A Multinational ASX-listed Logistics Group.
Highly Acquisitive - Operating across 150 + locations - 10,000 + employees

The Role:
Senior Corporate Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller and CFO in managing all financial processes including statutory and management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position involves collaboration with Divisional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting across all corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end accounting processes and financial reconciliations.
  • Conduct monthly profit and loss analysis, providing insights and presentations.
  • Maintain lease and financial data, preparing necessary schedules and journals.
  • Lead finance and reporting projects, ensuring timely achievement of objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of half-year and year-end financial reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors throughout review and audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with banking covenants and manage BAS & PAYG submissions.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and support system upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA qualification with a degree in commerce, business, or accounting.
  • Strong financial reporting and technical accounting expertise, particularly in consolidating large entities.
  • Proven Big 4 audit experience or ASX-listed reporting background.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in driving change and improving financial reporting and controls to support business growth.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP advantageous
