Purpose of the role

As a Change and Communication Analyst in the Partnerships & Alliances team, you’ll use technical knowledge and subject matter expertise to understand business, technical issues and how changes impact both Auto & General and both our White Label and Alliance partners. You will be skilled at understanding of causes and effects of changes throughout the business. An important contributor to the success of the Partnerships and Alliance Team they use the knowledge gained from analysis to inform and educate our Partners about change, make recommendations, or help with issue resolution.

This role works closely with various teams to deliver outcomes and requires excellent communication, teamwork skills and the ability to influence people at all levels of the business. This is done through an ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with a broad range of teams and individuals. This position is also responsible for ensuring the tool-set used by the team is relevant and efficient in supporting change initiatives such as facilitating business process redesign, impact assessments and stakeholder engagement.

The role

  • Support the team in delivering effective organisational change management that facilitates sustainable change, timely communication, and on-time delivery of requirements to meet Auto & General business wide changes.
  • Manage the development of change strategies and supporting plans (e.g. stakeholder engagement plans, communication plans, training etc.) to ensure stakeholders and partners are fully consulted and involved in the change.
  • Development and ownerships of stakeholder matrix to support approvals and record stakeholder activity.
  • Development and execution of change, partners communications, dashboards, and engagement activities.
  • Support the delivery teams across Auto & General in clearly articulating, assessing and implementing business ideas related to:
    • Operational process Improvements;
    • Strategic Project Delivery; and
    • Support of BAU activities.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and/or business representatives to analyses and understand business needs, expectations, and constraints.
  • Translate, elaborate, and document business outcomes for a variety of audiences. Including the articulation of partner needs and how this aligns with the Partnership and Alliances strategy.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and the change impact assessment including ‘as is’ & ‘to be’ business process/impacts and change readiness assessments.
  • Support optimal achievement of planned change and reform benefits for key departmental and divisional change programs and projects.
  • Contribute to the development of materials for project communications, engagement, and education by ensuring that business changes and impacts are identified and understood.
  • Contribute to the identification and execution of business engagement activities to improve awareness and commitment to the project initiatives for Partnerships and Alliances.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical, process and procedural knowledge base content relating to the Partnerships and Alliances business.

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in change management or people-related field.
  • Understanding of the factors that influence the claims cost, effectiveness and service delivery.
  • Experience in managing external suppliers.
