About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Network & Metering Coordination team as a Network & Metering Analyst. This role is responsible for identifying service provision performance trends across Network Service Providers (NSPs) and MCs and managing internal and external stakeholders to improve overall performance and customer experience.

About you’ll be doing:

  • Working with AGL's Electrification and Emerging business teams to support new technologies and services in the market (i.e. VPP & Dynamic Load Control)

  • Monitor NSP and MC performance against regulatory and contractual obligations, providing insights into key trends in a timely manner.

  • Co-developing and producing network & MC reporting.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop, document, and maintain a complete view of NSP / MC systemic issues impacting customers and AGL / PD

  • Develop clear action plans and strategies with the NSPs / MCs to improve performance, escalating to senior management when required.

What you’ll bring:

  • Tenured experience within a similar role, Retail Energy – high desirable

  • Deep understanding of networks and their regulatory obligations

  • A working understanding of ‘Power of Choice’ changes is desirable.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to establish credibility and build strong internal networks with a range of stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw out key insights from trend data.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver process improvement and develop solutions to address business issues.
