Security Engineering Manager, Security Operations Research

As a security leader, you will (a) lead by example, innovate and solve security challenges at a massive scale, (b) orchestrate strategy and direction, roadmap planning, and project execution scheduling, (c) hire, build and manage a cross-functional engineering team, and (d) foster strong team culture.

On-Call Responsibility
This position involves on-call escalation responsibilities (daytime only). We work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience developing, maintaining, and scaling production software,
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and building teams (including coaching and mentoring)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate level) certification- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Experience with building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems and executing a software roadmap
- Experience with common attack scenarios within cloud computing environments and has used a security framework, such as MITRE ATT&CK, to define and analyze security incidents.
- Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and delivery incrementally to the right direction
