Ventia are seeking a Community Engagement Officer to join their team across the Sydney Roads and Asset Performance Contract. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time permanent position with a hybrid working arrangement at Arndell Park.

About the role

The Community Engagement Officer will support the contract in achieving a customer centric culture, ensuring we proactively engage and listen to stakeholders and the community. The officer will also be expected to communicate with the community regarding potential disruptions to their day to day lives, supporting the contract to minimize disruption to customers and actively resolving customer enquiries in a timely manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to enquires and complaints with high quality responses, resolving complaints within KPI timeframes Record ministerial enquiries on SharePoint and help respond to them in a timely manner Collate monthly reporting data on ministerial received, complaint category numbers and percentages Prepare public facing community notifications and deliver on commitments set out within the contract

About You

Proficient experience in a customer service role previously (call centre operations preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong time management skills and ability to work in a high paced environment
