The gig

Our Sales Consultants exist to improve awareness of the Healthengine platform and its goal to help Australians find and connect with their primary care providers, and ultimately achieve better health outcomes. You will support the integral first part of the customer journey, laying the foundations of a great customer experience, through education and matching our subscription based products & services with key stakeholders in the health industry. 

This phone-based sales role is supported by a great product and a growing market, with the environment designed for you to succeed and hit your targets right from the start. Whilst you will have the benefit of also working qualified inbound leads generated by our marketing team, your tenacious outbound activity will put you in the driver seat to exceed targets and be rewarded with a motivating commission structure on top of a market competitive base salary.

What are you selling?

Subscription based products and services to the health industry. This role will focus specifically on Allied Health Professionals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Get busy on the phones chatting to practice owners and key staff, educating potential customers on Healthengine marketplace and products 
  • Act on and convert inbound leads into paying Healthengine subscribers
  • Proactively engage in outbound calls to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Maintain quality data in Salesforce for timely & accurate reporting
  • Positively impact the customer journey, ensuring a speedy yet smooth handover to our Customer teams
  • Maintain a focus on achieving individual and team targets
  • Participate in team learning, reading and researching activities
  • Maintain strong relationships with our Customer Success, Support and Marketing teams

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Healthcare landscape 
  • Demonstrate an ability to close sales and overcome customer objections with a consultative, solution approach to selling
  • Expertly manage a healthy pipeline and achieve a high conversion on leads
  • Be able to identify opportunities and key selling signals
  • Demonstrate experience in outbound sales 
  • Be resilient - let's face it, sales is highly rewarding but can be challenging at times
  • Possess a technical aptitude, a strong work ethic and be a self starter
