Your opportunity:

Our Field Services team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scope & Technical Documentation Specialist to join their newly formed Commercial and Partnerships team

Field Services delivers Urban Utilities’ maintenance program, delivering more than 100,000 maintenance activities each year, maintaining services 24 hours a day and seven days a week, through a range of strategic and tactical commercial agreements.

The Scope and Technical Documentation specialist will research, outline, write, and edit documentation, working closely with Field Services teams to understand requirements. The specialist will gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write project scopes, procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. The specialist will work across Field Services teams to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and maintain centralised documentation for Field Services.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Project Management/Engineering/Legal or other relevant discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience.

  • Experience in Technical Writing and Scope Documentation

  • Experience in Document management; (preferred)

  • Experience in maintenance or construction contract or project management (preferred)

  • Understanding of systems-intensive maintenance work-order management, workflows and practices is desirable.
