About the Job

  • Drafting a range of communication materials to engage and inspire Rest employees
  • Managing and developing compelling content for Rest’s internal communication channels with primary responsibility for Rest's intranet and news calendar as well as digital screens, videos, presentations etc
  • End-to-end management and delivery of internal communications projects and campaigns for Rest employees
  • Partnering with the business to provide communications support and advice
  • Running internal events including employee briefings, social and wellbeing activities with responsibility for the budget and vendor relationships
  • Showcasing our mission, purpose and values in all our activities with a focus on member-centricity

Qualifications

About You:

  • Degree in journalism, communications, commerce or relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate affairs or communications

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical terms simply using plain English
  • Experience developing communication materials and messaging across different mediums and audiences 
  • Intranet content and channels management, including experience in back-end systems
  • Sound relationship-building skills with proven ability to develop positive working relationships with multiple key stakeholders
