About the Role
This position is responsible for the provision of all secretariat support in the preparation of Council Meetings and Committee meetings are run efficiently and effectively.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate Council and Committee meetings, including agenda compilation and minutes taking.
  • Provide secretariat support, issuing actions from Council Resolutions.
  • Offer guidance and training on business paper processes and technology.
  • Maintain Governance registers and advise on Council Resolutions.
  • Implement continuous improvement practises for efficient services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, EEO and council policies.
  • Uphold ethical conduct and contribute to organizational effectiveness.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Business Unit Manager.

About You

  • Experience in generating council/committee business papers and take minutes.
  • Proficient in operating Info Council.
  • Preparing and coordinating briefing papers, briefing notes, Council and Committee reports and Workshop presentations.
  • Excellent communication in providing efficient, effective and timely Secretariat Service to multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledgeable about accounting principles and regulations.
