Curriculum Digital and Strategy ensures successful and compliant delivery of content developed by teams across Curriculum and Reform. The team liaises with diverse stakeholders to provide high-quality, evidence-based and effective solutions, consultation and strategic advice. This enables the delivery and enhancement of learning and teaching assets and design, and ensures compliance with legislations and government and departmental policies.

The Principal Digital Officer leads and manages workstreams in Curriculum Digital and Strategy to deliver, monitor and evaluate the portfolio of services and to facilitate the successful achievement of team, directorate and organisational objectives.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) (for paid employment).

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Understanding of and experience with educational contexts pre-school to Year 12
