ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Applications Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing the capability to Operate, Run, and Support Applications in scope. You will act as a software assessor, providing a dynamic service to identify and solve issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
 
Only candidates with existing Australian Citizenship can be considered for this role. Baseline/NV1 clearance would be highly regarded and there will be an option to obtain these clearances.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
 
You are required to be expert in Integration / API based Prod Support, IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise software, IBM WBI Message Broker Technologies. On-premises and Cloud Hosting, Capacity Management, and Monitoring. Mentor junior resources, coach and train as required. Beginner proficiency in Infrastructure Event Management and IT Infrastructure Operations is recommended.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of system performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Monitor the performance of all applications, Infrastructure and their associated Data Services (i.e., components) utilising available tools. Integrating these data feeds with dashboards as part of Service Performance Monitoring Services.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE To be successful you will need:

  • Integration / API based Product Support skills.
  • IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise software knowledge.
  • Experience with IBM WBI Message Broker.
  • Configuration management.
  • Working knowledge of integration technologies and data extractions mechanisms like MQ, REST, API-based integration.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
