Talent Focus Education, in collaboration with a renowned childcare center in who is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Manager to lead their facility in Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. This leadership role is essential for creating a nurturing, supportive environment for both staff and children, as well as fostering strong community connections.

About the Service
This beautiful, purpose-built centre spans two stories, featuring 9 classrooms, landscaped outdoor play spaces, interactive learning zones, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a central piazza for collaborative activities.

Key Responsibilities: As Centre Director, you will:

  • Manage daily centre operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, families, and the broader community
  • Support staff in implementing a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold company values
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Advocate for child safety and positive learning outcomes for all children

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a Director or leadership role within a childcare center.
  • Profound knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in childcare.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, rostering, and compliance documentation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with local and state childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A strong passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and mandatory reporting knowledge
