Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Centre Director to lead our team in the Melbourne region. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a small regional town, Vic, with a 51-place Early Learning Centre.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have prior leadership experience in a similar role, working within a large Centre and team. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs using their strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

As a key member of our team, the Childcare Centre Director will mentor Educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation. They will also oversee the presentation of each room in the centre, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Educators to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Develop and implement educational programs aligned with EYLF and NQS
  • Mentor and support Educators to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure the centre meets regulatory requirements and maintains a high level of quality
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve centre goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Current ACECQA approved Diploma/Bachelor qualification
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
  • Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
