HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced EL1 level Assistant Director, Change Management for a transformative role within a key federal government initiative in SYDNEY NSW.

About the Role:
Join a dedicated team focused on integrity and transformation, contributing to the success of a vital program within our client's organisation.
In this role, you'll exercise leadership and autonomy to deliver impactful change initiatives, liaising with diverse stakeholders to drive operational and strategic outcomes.

  • Lead a specialist team in designing and implementing change strategies aligned with our client's goals.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with key internal and external partners, including disability community members.
  • Coordinate change management activities to ensure on-time, budget-conscious delivery and support our client's Crack Down on Fraud (CDoF) program.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and proactively address change resistance through targeted interventions.
  • Ensure effective communications to empower leaders as champions of change across the organisation.

About You:
Bring your expertise and passion for change management to this meaningful role. We're looking for a leader with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a change manager or business analyst.
  • Certified in Change Management (such as CMI, Prosci, or Agile Change).
  • Skilled in designing and implementing inclusive change strategies that align with organisational objectives.
  • Strong communicator, able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across varied sectors.
  • Experience in identifying change impacts and mitigating resistance effectively.
