Full Job Description:

Intro Recruitment are currently working with multiple Public Sector Departments and filling their temporary Administration requests for the 2024/2025 financial year. Due to the upcoming election and ongoing projects, temporary and casual staff are required for administrative and support duties until projects are complete.

Duties Include (not limited to):

  • Proficient data entry skills with a keen focus on accuracy
  • Responsibilities entail generating work requests in Ellipse, establishing electronic files, and managing quote tracking E numbers
  • Assisting the Senior Business Support Co-Ordinator with administrative tasks, maintaining fleet records, and managing records for telecommunication/computer devices
  • This role is responsible for the entry of Field Staff timesheets, labour costing, leave, staff movements and extensions of field and office staff.
  • An understanding of payroll principles and have the ability to pick up errors.
  • Demonstrate high level interpersonal skills including negotiation, minimisation of aggression and dispute resolution as appropriate.
  • Provision of management of “document control (Aconex)” and administration support to Project Managers and Superintendent Rep's.
  • Project work request and project number creation as required/requested.
  • Entering and maintaining forecast and approved project budget
  • Monthly billing activities, including review of unbilled costs, checking of final and draft billing files, investigating and resolving billing issues.
  • Engaging in direct communication with suppliers to foster strong relationships and streamline procurement processes.
  • Demonstrate high level interpersonal skills including negotiation, minimisation of aggression and dispute resolution as appropriate.
  • Prepare and calling of tenders for a variety of categories involving construction, maintenance, consulting and upgrade activities, including evaluation and regulatory techniques.
  • Undertake operational purchasing activities including ordering goods/services and processing a range of purchase orders and field release orders.

These positions suit candidates who have previous Public Sector experience and work to Government processes. Pay rate can range between $46.27 - $71.67 p/h + super and overtime rates when approved.
