Our centre in Capalaba creates a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the holistic development of every child in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement a play-based curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Work alongside an experienced Group Leader in the Pre-Kindy room.
  • Collaborate with a supportive Centre Manager and the broader team.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a sense of community within the centre.
  • Conduct observations and assessments to track children's progress and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
  • Current Teacher's Registration (Queensland).
  • Strong understanding and application of the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Role:

  • Casual Early Childhood Teacher position: 3 days per week
  • Pre-Kindy room.
  • Collaborative work environment with an experienced Group Leader and a supportive Centre Manager.
