About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Green Leaves Early Learning. As a mentor and role model, you will be responsible for supporting the professional development and practice of our ECTs.

Our centre has committed to supporting the growth and career development of our ECTs through regular opportunities to collaborate with our National Learning Research and Development Partner, Dr. Karen Grubb, and access to a range of professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement a comprehensive transition to school/school-readiness program for our Kindergarten children.
  • Manage your classroom and mentor educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation.
  • Ensure the room is immaculately presented as a welcoming and safe environment.
  • Mentor other teachers and educators as part of our leadership team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold or be studying towards an ACECQA-approved teaching qualification.
  • Current SA Teachers Registration or Special Authority to Teach.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
  • Current Child Protection Training.
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one.
