About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Metabolic Clinical Trials Unit as Administrative Officer, this position involves:

  • Coordinating appointments, clinical activities, attendance at committee meetings and the scheduling of visits/visitors.
  • Providing meeting secretarial support including meeting coordination, minute taking etc.
  • Undertake project support functions for all studies under direction, to meet the administrative requirements of the study.
  • Provide a range of accurate financial functions, transactions and procedures for the unit.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:

  • Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills. 
  • Proven extensive experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems, practices, policies, procedures and corporate records management.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems objectively and make recommendations for their resolution.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and work in a harmonious team environment.
  • Experience in clinical trial administration will be looked upon favourably.
