About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team in the Metabolic Clinical Trials Unit. This role involves coordinating appointments, clinical activities, and scheduling visits/visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing meeting secretarial support, including coordination, minute-taking, and preparation of agendas and minutes.
  • Undertaking project support functions for all studies under direction, ensuring timely completion and adherence to administrative requirements.
  • Managing a range of financial transactions and procedures, including budget management and reconciliations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems, practices, policies, and corporate records management.
  • Able to adapt in a changing environment and demonstrate flexibility in their work approach.
  • Ability to analyse problems objectively and make recommendations for their resolution.
  • Experience working in a harmonious team environment and contributing to team goals and objectives.
