How you'll make an impact We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant on a 12-month Fixed Term contract. This role will be instrumental in liaising across national teams, collaborating with developers and analysts to deliver BI initiatives. Your role is crucial in delivering advanced BI solutions and compelling data visualizations that align with our business and client objectives. You'll be at the heart of our data operations, managing and enhancing GB's data platforms, while fostering a culture of flexibility and innovation. On a day to day basis you will: Elicit requirements from business and technical stakeholders and assisting the business in developing sophisticated business intelligence solutions Take ownership of the solution development lifecycle including analysis, design, testing & implementation Analyse data and provide insights to the business Full end-to-end Data Warehouse architecture and development Design and Develop in SQL Server Design and Develop SSIS to attend complex requirements Design and Develop SSAS Tabular models using Visual Studio Design and enhance SSRS & Power BI dashboards About you We are interested in hearing from people who have: Relevant Tertiary qualifications Demonstrated experience in data visualisation, modelling conceptual and physical design experience Microsoft development suite experience including SQL, SSIS, SSAS Tabular, Power BI and SSRS Expertise in Business Intelligence frameworks, with experience in Power BI administration An understanding of business requirements gathering and data architecture Experience in developing and reviewing conceptual and logical data models Proven communication and interpersonal skills across various organizational levels Working with us: GB values its employees and offers a friendly, comfortable working environment that facilitates a Work and Life Balance GB recognises that our benefits program holds a different value or meaning to each employee.
