SRK Consulting is an employee-owned, independent, international consulting practice, providing integrated consulting services to the international resource sector.

We are looking for talented Senior Tailings / Civil / Geotechnical Engineers, ideally with at least 6 years industry experience who is looking to grow their consulting experience in a technically talented Brisbane based team environment where you will be able to innovate and develop your ideas.


The Role:

The successful candidate will be part of our Brisbane based team which provides excellent opportunities for mentoring in addition to working on challenging projects and the opportunity to provide design input to best practice standards.

Professionally, you will be supported and guided by Principal Consultant level staff who will mentor and assist you in developing your technical skills and career aspirations, as well as building your network of clients.

Our successful candidate will have:

&bull:
A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

&bull:

Developing designs for mine waste facilities (tailings storage facilities, heap leach pads and waste dumps) at all stages from concept to closure.

&bull:
Undertaking engineering analyses such as stability, seepage and water balance modelling.

&bull:
Preparing technical deliverables including proposals, reports and construction documentation.

&bull:
Overseeing construction and operation of mine waste facilities.

&bull:
Undertaking geotechnical investigations and interpreting results.

&bull:
Liaising with internal and external clients.

&bull:
Working with other team members, specialists from other disciplines and mentoring junior staff.

&bull:
Current Australian working rights, or a valid working visa with a minimum of 12 months working rights.
