YOUR ROLE
As the Account Manager, you are tasked with the crucial role of not only maintaining but also developing and achieving sales targets within our existing customer base and acquiring new accounts through effective pipeline management of new businesses. Your responsibilities will be centred around:
Achieving sales revenue and margin targets within your allocated territory/sector. Fostering the growth of existing accounts through GAP Selling. Identifying new potential customers and re-engaging previously lost customers, with a clear strategy to secure their business and increase sales. Serving as a trusted advisor to your customers, meeting agreed service expectations and managing any disputes/queries promptly. Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Understanding customer's current products and future needs to provide tailored solutions. Providing sales forecasts and managing inventory effectively to meet customer delivery expectations and minimize stock issues. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence. Preparing supply agreements, tenders, and customer quotations that articulate Bunzl's value proposition.ABOUT YOU
You are a highly skilled sales professional with a track record of driving sales results and building strong customer relationships. Your qualifications and skills include:
Secondary School completion or equivalent, with a tertiary qualification in a related field preferred. Demonstrated ability in achieving sales targets, underpinned by strong sales, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems, with a strong ability to analyze data and forecast sales trends. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer engagement and internal collaboration. Proven time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlineswhile maintaining a customer-centric approach.
