Currently seeking BIM Technology Specialists to join our Sunshine – Victoria, Brisbane – Eagle Farm and St Marys – NSW sites.

Reporting to the National BIM and Technology Manager, this role is responsible for the design and digital delivery of reinforcing steel to Australia’s major construction projects. You will interact directly with clients and internal stakeholders to determine their needs and develop BIM strategies to ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each major project.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and update Revit models for various projects
  • Develop and customize tools, plugins, within Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit to optimize workflows and automate repetitive tasks
  • Integrate Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit with other software platforms and technologies to enable enhance project coordination
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit applications
  • Research emerging technologies and trends related to BIM to drive innovation and improve project delivery processes
  • Engage with clients plus internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes

This role would suit an experienced Modeller or a graduate looking to start their career in the construction and engineering industry.  Our ideal candidate is a goal-oriented team player who is enthusiastic, tenacious and prides themselves on their attention to detail.

Advantageous skills for this role:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
  • Understanding of BIM processes and standards

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A diploma, certificate or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, architecture or animation
