About the Company

Davidson Technology currently have an exciting opportunity that has arisen with one of our valued government organisation who supports the legislative process with essential services like administrative support, research assistance, and public engagement.

We are seeking an experienced A05 Project Officer for an initial 3 months contract with possible extensions. The role is based in CBD whereby being onsite 5 days a week is required.

About the Role

As the Project Officer, you will provide support to the Program Delivery Manager, project managers and project teams in the areas of project and program governance such as risk management, monitoring program progress and complex reporting, policy and procedure implementation, resource planning, quality assurance and benefits review.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete quality assurance and benefits reviews through project implementation.

Support the project manager and project team in areas of project governance such as risk management, monitoring program progress, collating and preparing complex reporting and supporting policy and procedure implementation.

Provide support to the Program Delivery Manager to implement and maintain project related processes and systems, program reporting, risk management and resource planning.

Develop and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and issues management to ensure project deliverables quality standards and timeframes are met

Support others across IT Services and, using an appropriate engagement and communication style, contribute to a positive team culture with a focus on collaboration and the customer experience.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience as an Project Officer

Proven experience within an IT environment delivering multiple task and activities to required deadlines, often in partnership with other team members, stakeholders or customers who may have different priorities

Demonstrated ability to show support across IT teams and with business functions and work collaboratively with others

Demonstrated ability to identify risks, analyse information to solve problems and make improvements that support project delivery and the customer experience

The Benefits

This opportunity offers you an initial 3 -month contract with potential to extend. This role requires a maximum of 40 hours per week.
