The Role
The Defence Architect and Strategy Branch (DASB) within the newly established Defence Digital Group (DDG) is seeking to recruit multiple APS 6 Enterprise Architects to assist in the management the overall design and successful implementation of Defence’s evolving technology ecosystem.
DASB provides ICT strategic, technology and architectural services spanning the entire Defence ICT landscape supporting outcomes for Defence war-fighters, civilians, leadership, programs, projects and capability owners. We intimately understand, map and direct overall ICT ecosystems across Defence and through the robust management of ICT standards proactively and continuously seek to improve the ICT experience for all ADF, APS and partners to meet the needs of the war-fighter during a time where ICT will be key in providing decision support advantage.
Roles will be located in the following work areas: Digital Strategy and Roadmaps, Cyber Security Architecture (Security Architecture, Data & Integration Architecture), and Enterprise Architecture (Applications, Infrastructure, Network and C4ISREW (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare), and ICT Standards and Frameworks.
You will focus on ensuring smooth operational advice and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure end-to-end technology blueprints that align with the organisation's goals and technical requirements.
