The Enterprise Architect position at RMIT University is a key role in driving the university's digital transformation and strategic technology initiatives. As a member of the Architecture & Software Engineering group, you will be responsible for leading enterprise responses to disruptive forces and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, data architecture, integration architecture, and digital research infrastructure. They will also have experience working with EA modelling tools, such as Essential Cloud, and a strong understanding of institutional research, research administration platforms, and digital research infrastructure.
The Enterprise Architect will develop, maintain, and govern the enterprise architecture across the university, including reference architecture, blueprints, and roadmaps. They will also collaborate with IT Services groups, business leaders, and stakeholders to ensure that the architecture is aligned with the university's strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework for RMIT University
- Lead the development of reference architecture, blueprints, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with IT Services groups and business leaders to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on enterprise architecture and data architecture
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the university
Requirements
- Three+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect in a large, complex organization
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, data architecture, and integration architecture
- Experience working with EA modelling tools, such as Essential Cloud
- Strong understanding of institutional research, research administration platforms, and digital research infrastructure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
