Join our Agriculture team to drive potato crop productivity, supply management, grower support and technology integration. Your responsibilities include Training growers and the Agriculture Team in newly developed digital tools, maintaining grower databases, finance reporting, grower payments and general administration tasks. 

The Position will be based in Ballarat, Victoria.  Travel around Victoria and South Australia, and at times our other production sites in Tasmania and New Zealand, will be required.

About the role

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the Agriculture Function in Ballarat
  • Processing of potato transactions within the Potato Contracting and Receiving (PCR) system. 
  • Reconcile tonnages received on a daily, weekly, monthly basis working to ensuring accurate payments for suppliers on a fortnightly and monthly basis
  • Process necessary orders and receipt in a timely manner and Vendor management
  • To understand, comply, and where necessary enforce company policies and practices currently in place 
  • Support to promote/improve the Health & Safety culture
  • New account creating for growers in the digital systems
  • Maintain grower information and data integrity within the systems
  • Generate reports as per request
  • Maintain relationship with growers from a digital ag perspective - a. training with the grower b. respond to day-to-day questions from the growers
  • Be the central point of contact for the Agriculture Team for the digital tools

About you

  • Good organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on report writing
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work under pressure 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong planning, organizing, and collaboration skills
