Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic Front Office Supervisor to lead the Front Office team at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and training of Guest Service Agents;
  • Ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Conducting guest arrivals and departures;
  • Confidently providing personalised, attentive guest service, including pre-empting the guest's requirements;
  • Imparting your knowledge and recommendations about the hotel, its facilities and the local area including restaurants and attractions;
  • Ensuring guest queries and complaints are handled efficiently and effectively;
  • Maintaining accurate guest accounts, adhering to strict confidentiality policies and procedures;
  • Finalizing guest accounts, including cash handling;
  • Assisting in general administration duties in the Front Office department and general duties across the Housekeeping & Maintenance departments as required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 1+ years experience at a supervisor level or Senior Guest Service Agent within a Hotel environment
  • Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
  • Understanding of Trust accounting
  • A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work a variety of day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
