You will enjoy identifying, cultivating, and securing new corporate partners and much-needed untied funding. Your previous nonprofit experience in a corporate partnerships role will help you ensure you are comfortable and confident seeking and maximising opportunities across corporate partnerships, philanthropic trusts, and fee-for-service relationships. You will thrive being part of a supportive and ambitious team who is determined to continue positively impacting the safety and connectedness of Australian children and families.
Key responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives to grow corporate partnerships, sponsorship, philanthropic support and fee for service income across local, state and national levels.
- Nurture and retain existing partners and key stakeholder relationships.

- Collaborate with the CEO and Operations Manager to drive non-government income growth and stability.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop a suite of compelling pitch materials, proposals and partner assets.
- Supervise and support the Event Coordinator and fundraising events calendar.
- Prepare update reports for key stakeholders including the Board, partners and prospects.
- Develop and maintain internal and external networks and relationships to raise the profile of The Family Co.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing corporate partnerships for a nonprofit.
- Strong presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Experience coordinating or leading mutually beneficial, multi-year agreements with a focus on untied revenue.
- Capable of identifying new business opportunities, effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders, and presenting compelling partnership proposals.
- Sharp attention to detail, adept at managing budgets, and confident producing accurate partnership performance and impact reports.
- Skilled relationship manager with the ability to influence, negotiate, build rapport and achieve targets.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a nonprofit or for-purpose organisation.
- Formal tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or communication.
