About the role

This rare position as Executive Director for Aged Care Services reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and joins an executive team united by a shared mission to bring compassion and justice to life so that people and communities thrive. Joining a collaborative executive team, the role actively contributes to MercyCare's strategic direction, innovation, and instilling an inclusive, person-centred culture. Ensuring strategy is operationalised and financial sustainability, the position inspires a team of 600 across residential and home care delivery to achieve service quality and excellence.

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire a large, geographically dispersed team
  • Strategic mindset aligning performance to business mission, strategies, and values
  • Extensive experience delivering positive accreditation results and regulatory standards
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, analytical skills, and financial literacy
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and engagement skills to lead and coach performance
  • Demonstrated success in change leadership and complex operating environments
  • Relevant tertiary degree complemented by management, business, or leadership qualifications
  • Satisfactory background and security clearances including insolvency screening
