Opportunity: Permanent Full-Time Reports To: National Manager – Asset Management  The OpportunityWe're looking for an Asset & Refurbishment Project Manager to oversee unit & apartment refurbishments as well as CAPEX projects across a portfolio of Aveo retirement communities. Responsible for approximately six communities/villages, you’ll manage end-to-end project delivery, build strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders, and play a key role in ensuring our refurbished homes and community facilities meet quality, cost, and time expectations. Your ImpactManage and deliver reinstatement and refurbishment projects across vacant units and apartments to achieve the best outcome for Aveo and residentsManager internal and external repair and CAPEX works to communal buildings and grounds as per the programmeBuild and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, Sales teams and Community OperationsAdhere to refurbishment time frames to ensure stock is ready for marketConsistently drive quality, competitive pricing, and timely project deliverySupport the standardisation of refurbishment processes and product specificationsConduct site audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsUse CRM/project systems to scope, track, report and manage project dataProvide trusted advice and support to community teams, Sales, Facility Management and senior stakeholdersComplete a high level of administration duties such as purchase order submissions, creating business cases for work approval, tender evaluation, reinstatement & refurbishment models and forecasting and tracking What you'll bringDemonstrated experience in Project Management, Facilities Management, Asset Management or similar roles within a commercial or residential setting.Previous experience in complex maintenance, renovation and/or residential build works, scoping, project coordination and negotiating with contractorsSuperior negotiation and communication skills with varied internal and external stakeholdersAbility to influence stakeholders, both internal and external, as well as senior leadership, operations, sales and community team membersComputer literate - must be competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Desirable to be able to use project management, CRM and/or financial feasibility softwareCommitment to quality, professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detailTertiary qualifications in Building, Project Management or Facility Management will be highly regarded Why Aveo?
