**Financial Analyst - Outsourced CFO**
Are you a newly qualified (or soon to be qualified) finance professional that would like to gain commercial experience as a Financial Analyst, but also like working in a professional accounting practice? If so, then Nexia Perth has the perfect opportunity for you.

Our Outsourced CFO team take a holistic approach to our client's financial needs. We provide them with accurate and reliable information to run their businesses and make informed financial decisions.

**The Opportunity**
We have a unique opportunity for accounting professionals that can look beyond the numbers and become an integral part of our clients' businesses. We are looking for individuals that:

- Have an Auditing or Financial Reporting background,
- Are looking for the flexibility and growth a professional firm can offer; and
- Have a keen eye for business.

The role is more than just preparing financial reports, you will proactively work with our clients to assist them with providing financial reporting & analysis, managing their tax compliance obligations, preparing and monitoring budgets & forecasts, cash flow management and implementing financial controls. However, we are not looking for a traditional accounting mindset, but someone that is open to new ideas, innovation and ways of looking for solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage clients' financial reporting functions,
- Prepare or review monthly management reporting, including analysis of key trends and variances,
- Help our clients identify risks and opportunities for future developments and changes. From a business perspective (eg. Cashflow pressure) or from a compliance/regulatory perspective (eg. Changes in tax legislation),
- Assist our clients to plan for the future through preparing or managing the budget and forecasting process,
- Develop and implement financial governance policies and procedures,
- Review period end (month, quarter, half year and annual) accounting journals,
- Manage client's annual compliance obligations
- Annual reporting and audit process
- ASX, ASIC, ORIC or ACNC obligations
- Review work performed by team members and provide guidance and training where required, and
- Ensure client timetables for deliverables are managed and met.

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, attributes and experience:

- Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a collaborative attitude,
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills,
- Highly engaged self-starter with an ability to multitask and manage their time effectively to complete assignments to meet deadlines,
- Relevant degree, plus CA or CPA qualified or working toward a professional qualification,
- 3+ years of relevant post graduate experience
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.
