Job Title: Financial Analyst
The role of a Financial Analyst is to provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions. We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled analyst with strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in finance, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare management reports for the executive team and monthly financial reporting and analysis for programs.
Preparation of budget and quarterly forecasts.
Support financial systems transformation, including Sage Intacct implementation and integration with other platforms.
Provide high-quality reporting, variance analysis, and insights for decision-making.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, translating complex financial information for non-finance audiences.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or similar.
CA or CPA qualified or working towards.
Minimum 5 years experience in finance, in an analyst role.
Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
Experience in reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Demonstrated experience in the NFP or human services sector, including fund/grant reporting.
Demonstrated experience using excel and business intelligence tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
