**_St. Paul's Anglican Church, Beaconsfield is seeking a new Community Coordinator (casual position) to assist with general administration and running of the church, events and grounds. _**

**About the Church**

St. Paul's Anglican Church is a vibrant community in the heart of South Fremantle, Western Australia.

A spiritual home for many, the church is a bustling hub of activity, holding 3 services a week alongside meditation sessions, morning teas, book groups, not-for-profits, Sunday School, and much more. The grounds are additionally used by the local community for concerts, clubs, therapy groups, weddings, baptisms and funerals.

**About the Role**

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

- Liaising with, and following direction from, the priest-in-charge and Parish Council
- Assisting with logístical planning of parish fundraisers, baptisms, weddings and funerals
- Managing the online parish calendar and booking system
- Collating and distributing the weekly newsletter
- Filing and printing documents
- Ordering liturgical, office and cleaning supplies
- Drafting invoices and collecting public liability insurance and hire license documents
- Monitoring parking or noise issues and liaising with neighbours
- Social media content and advertisement design
- Working with organisations such as Containers for Change, Fremantle Council, Foundation House and Gift of Grace Funerals
- Assisting the Treasurer in tracking hire payments
- Giving grounds tours to potential hirers or engaged couples
- Receiving and recording community feedback
- Contributing updated content to the website

**About You**
- You must be available to work approximately 6 hours per week, preferably over two separate days
- You must have basic technical skills and competency in Word, Gmail and Google Workspace. It would also be beneficial to have knowledge of social media and photography, and use graphic design websites as Canva
- You must have strong social skills and be able to work with parishioners/community members of all ages, backgrounds and faiths
- You must be conscientious, attentive to detail, and willing to solve logístical challenges at speed
- You must be a strong verbal and written communicator
- You must be willing to form strong, respectful connections with the wider community and represent St. Paul's with positivity and enthusiasm at all times
