Innovation Specialist

**The opportunity**

Silverchain are seeking an
**Innovation Specialist** to join the
**Future Care Team **on a fixed term, full time basis. Our Innovation Specialist is responsible for supporting innovation initiatives and providing specialist expertise and experience in innovation project management, strategy and initiative delivery. You will be driven to ensure that Silverchain's current and future services are contemporary and deliver meaningful outcomes and impacts that are grounded in end user needs.

**Key responsibilities**
- You will drive, and coordinate innovation initiatives and ensure project delivery targets are met
- You will track and support communication and reporting on innovation initiatives
- Write and present high quality innovation deliverables (such as innovation opportunity reports, reverse briefs, project plans, business requirements, background and problem definition slides, concept brief slides, solution option slides, pilot approach slides)
- Undertake desktop research to identify, summarise and document key government policy and strategy implications for Future Care, market trends, emerging technology and leading practice case studies, to present innovation opportunity spaces
- Support value driver analysis, market opportunity and business rationale definition, financial projections and business case development
- Develop expert recommendations, insights and briefings on innovation learnings for relevant stakeholders
- Organise and run innovation initiative meetings and workshops
- Support collaboration with industry and strategic partners

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Passion for healthcare & technology
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience in the role of a change agent driving organisational transformation
- Proven development and implementation of new models of care, including virtual care
- Proficient in desktop research
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to think critically to plan, synchronise, and execute complex undertakings
- Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines
- Familiarity with the innovation process, methods, tools, templates and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrated experience in end to end project management
- Familiarity with Agile, Human Centred Design and Lean ways of working
- Thought leader who reads and engages extensively to bring outside in thinking to the organisation
