The role of a Committee Project Officer/Junior Project Manager is to support committees in their standardisation work and provide administration support for projects.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate Australian participation at international standards development work, including international meetings and balloting.
Provide International Technical Committee support, occasionally requiring attendance at international conference calls outside normal business hours.
Liaise with experts for input to international projects that benefit the Australian community.
Maintain plans and information for projects using an enterprise project management system.
Build and support working relationships with project stakeholders, upholding industry standards.
Provide guidance on international policies and standards development processes.
About You:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in an office administration role.
Experience utilising project management methodologies is highly regarded.
Experience coordinating consensus outcomes or similar is highly valued.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
A proactive attitude and enthusiasm are required.
