Description
Reporting to the U.S based senior Practice Director of Elevate, this role will closely partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to recruit, train and outplace new talent. This position will work closely with senior leaders across the APAC region and will require an in-depth understanding of UKG technology and the different business areas.
Based out of our Macquarie Park head office in Sydney this position will entail significant onsite presence and some travel.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding, training and development plan for a cohort of new starters (graduates) on an annual or bi-annual basis.
- Oversee a comprehensive 12 week learning schedule including facilitation and coordination of training and development sessions.
- Provide goals, feedback, development, and continued learning as well as provide technical leadership/guidance, acting as a mentor for incoming starters.
- Anticipate problems or situations that could affect the cohort engagement or performance and develop and execute best solution.
- Track and monitor all mentee projects as well as monitor performance and productivity metrics.
- Manage escalated situations, establish appropriate remediation plans, and execute the plan to remedy the situation.
- Create a collaborative and engaged environment, fostering a positive onboarding experience and setting new starters up for a successful career within UKG.
- Continually solicit feedback from program participants, peers, and supervisors to find new or better ways to operate, improve efficiency, and/or develop themselves.
- Ensure all personal and team administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately and following established best practices and methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with HR, TA and Hiring Managers to successfully outplace trainees into various areas of the business at completion of the Elevate program.
**Qualifications**:
- BS degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of managing strategic programs.
- Experience working for a Cloud company.
- Experience with Workforce Management, HR/Payroll software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the track record of driving change and process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and changing environments and demonstrated leadership skills with ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work with all levels of individuals in an organization and drive influence where needed.
