About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the shop floor resources area is optimised to achieve the Packaging schedule by maintaining and improving the standards of safety and quality in Packaging.

Main Duties- Ensure shop floor resources are optimised to achieve the packaging schedule and ensure packaging of a quality product.- Support Packaging Shift Manager to achieve area goals and administration activities- Provide guidance to team members and support their development. Conduct performance management when necessary- Completes documentation according to guidelines and communicates effectively with others- Contribute to the output of the team by sharing information and resources with other team members- Assist in writing and updating SOPs when necessary- Carry out people processes including but not limited to timekeeping, performance management, leave management- Complete Safety risk assessments and CAPAs- Ensure that packaging rooms and corridors are kept clean, neat and tidy at all times- TrackWise reports in conjunction with team- Other duties as required by the manager of the role- Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiativesManage your work efficiently and cost effectively to meet Operations plans and targets.- Other duties as required by the Packaging Area Managers/Packaging Manager of the role.

About you- At least 5 years previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry- Previous GMP experience- Experience in FMCG packaging- Experience with and use of technical documentation such as URS, IQOQ, technical drawings will also be highly regarded.
