**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity within our Marketing team for a Customer Marketing Manager. You will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and will play a key role with our team in managing the marketing components of key trading moments throughout the year including events like Black Friday and Cyber Week as well as the ongoing trade planning program. This role will require a deep understanding of all customer segments and how they relate to the 'Connect' customer mission. and will develop marketing strategies to reach and grow customer engagement across these activities

You will business partner with stakeholders in key merchandise categories e.g. computers, laptops, printing/ink, mobile, acting as customer champion and using insights to influence actions through marketing communications and customer experience.

You will work cross-functionally to improve the collective understanding of the behaviours, wants and needs of customers. You will also work with internal teams and agencies to brief, develop and deliver on these Customer Marketing strategies through integrated marketing communications programs and activities that deliver on commercial, customer and brand objectives.

At Officeworks we support a hybrid approach (on-site and working from home), with the currently based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria.

**About you**:

- You are tertiary educated, with a relevant degree in marketing or similar, coupled with 7+ years' marketing experience.
- Experience working with Agencies (Creative, Media, Digital, Content & Design)
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills you will quickly develop relationships and be comfortable influencing at a senior level as well as management of a Marketing Lead.
- Strong commercial acumen where you can talk through examples of using data, and understanding customer insights.
- This is a strategically aligned position with responsibility for the development and implementation of the strategy.
- You thrive working in retail and or/ a fast moving and changing environment, adapting quickly to the reactive needs of the business. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in cross-functional working groups
- Understanding of both ATL and Digital media principles
