**Job Description**:
This role is a key member of the Claims Learning and Development management team to enable, contribute and deliver on the Claims L&D strategy while responsible for leading and coaching a team of learning professionals. Working across the Claims Learning & Development team the role collaborates with the team to deliver on Claims learning programs. The role ensures effective design and delivery of learning solutions to uplift our people's capability.

This role is responsible for leveraging high impact stakeholder partnerships and Learning and Development expertise to deliver high-quality organisational learning to meet the needs of our people, aligned to the TAL business strategy and TAL capability framework. The role provides exceptional capability to bring TAL's training solutions to life.

The role supports the Claims Learning and Development team in managing and delivering on business as usual and multiple concurrent Learning and Development Program requirements.

The role will ensure that members of the TAL Claims teams (Group & Individual Life) and key partners within the wider business receive adequate support to enable them to fully contribute to the team's success.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 5+ years' experience working in a learning and development role
- Desirable, at least 5+ years' experience working in Claims Life Insurance technical or leadership role.
- Experience in managing and coaching Learning and Development team members.
- Experience in managing multiple mid to large scale learning projects through a team.
- Experience in digital development Articulate and RISE 360, as well as other digital programmes.
- Extensive experience in learning design principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in working with Learning Management Systems or HRIS.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Desirable, certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Desirable, demonstrated understanding of relevant regulatory and legal obligations impacting Life Insurance claim assessment.
