Your role at St John of God Healthcare at Home
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse Manager to provide leadership and oversight of our service in Geelong.
This is an opportunity to lead a service with significant growth and a thriving new home maternity service, working collaboratively with our hospital and external providers to deliver a first-class service.
You will provide management of the service as well as deliver direct patient care, as required, to ensure a positive patient experience and clinical outcomes in line with the Home Services Strategy.
We are offering a permanent position working 45 hours per fortnight.
The Position:
Leads and fosters a culture of continuous improvement where all patient encounters influence a memorable patient experience, and which is underpinned by excellence and safety in care. Monitors, analyses, and reports variances and trends in clinical data to continuously improve clinical quality and safety outcomes. Contributes to policy and procedure development to optimise clinical outcomes and enhance the patient experience. Actively promotes and integrates service models with the hospitals to deliver seamless care in the community and ambulatory setting. Promotes the delivery of evidence-based practice, including research and quality activities to improve patients' care in the home setting. Participates in, contributes to and implements quality improvement and risk management into all aspects of service.
Successful applicants will be registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), hold a Tertiary qualification in nursing, management and/or relevant discipline, and have recent acute clinical experience in home nursing. This position will also require a State drivers license, Working with Children Check and National Police Clearence.

We can offer you the following:
Salary: $127,128 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% SuperannuationPermanent part-time, working 45 hours per fortnightSalary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:Novated leasing work related expensesself-education andadditional superannuationA healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave & well-being programsAdditional professional development and qualification allowances
