Nurse Manager Role

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic leader to oversee our nursing service in Geelong. This is an opportunity to lead a service with significant growth and a thriving new home maternity service, working collaboratively with external providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement where all patient encounters influence a memorable patient experience, and which is underpinned by excellence and safety in care.
  • Monitor, analyse and report variances and trends in clinical data to continuously improve clinical quality and safety outcomes.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development to optimise clinical outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
  • Promote and integrate service models with hospitals to deliver seamless care in the community and ambulatory setting.
  • Promote evidence-based practice, including research and quality activities to improve patients' care in the home setting.
  • Participate in, contribute to, and implement quality improvement and risk management into all aspects of service.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Tertiary qualification in nursing, management and/or relevant discipline.
  • Recent acute clinical experience in home nursing.
  • State drivers license, Working with Children Check, and National Police Clearance.
