Job Description
Partner closely with the Commercial Director to lead annual planning, rolling forecasts, and the design of rebate and promotional strategies.
Deliver timely and insightful commercial reporting, including tracking sales performance against targets and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual outlooks.
Review and analyse month-end P&Ls with regional and country managers, and support the development of P&Ls for new product initiatives.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to evaluate promotional effectiveness, manage accruals, and provide financial input into campaign planning.
Conduct detailed variance analysis, identify root causes of performance gaps, and contribute commentary for consolidated financial presentations.
Participate in management meetings, offering financial insights to support strategic decisions across brands, business lines, and geographies.
Engage with stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand, the US, and Dublin, requiring strong cross-cultural communication and flexibility across time zones.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Commercial Analyst should:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA/CA qualified.
Advanced Power BI, Tablo and excel skills.
Strong problem-solving skill and communication skills.
A self-starter who can work independently.
Exceptional business partnering skills.
Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.
